Kineo Pursuits was born in the Maldives, where we coach in the water ourselves. Beyond the Maldives, our trips are designed by Kineo and run on the ground by local experts: one preferred partner in each country, whose guides live and work where you travel.
Why local partners
A guide who grew up below the Annapurna range or rides the Hai Van Pass every week knows things no visiting leader can: the weather patterns, the quiet trails, the families who host you, and who to call when plans need to change. Working with them also keeps more of what you spend in the places you visit.
What Kineo does
- Designs the trip: route, pace, effort grade and the kind of places you stay.
- Sets the standards for guiding, safety, group size and how we treat crew.
- Looks after you before and during the trip, with one Kineo contact by email or WhatsApp.
What our partner does
- Runs the trip on the ground: guides, transport, permits and accommodation.
- Leads every day with qualified local guides and support crew.
- Holds responsibility for operations in their country, including their own licences and insurance.
What we check
Before a partner runs a Kineo trip, we check:
- Licensed and registered with the tourism authority in their country.
- Liability insurance in place and current.
- Qualified guides with first-aid training suited to the activity.
- Fair pay and loads for crew, including porters on treks.
- Care for places and people: how they work with local communities and protected areas.
We start each partnership carefully, with a small number of departures, and grow from there.
How booking works
Trips are booked on request. You send a request, we confirm availability with our partner, and then you pay a deposit to secure your place. Booking early gives the best chance of your preferred dates and accommodation.
